Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Dhaheri is a prominent economic and social figure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. He is one of the pioneers who contributed to the establishment of the Kingdom's infrastructure in the 1980s. He played a prominent role in the Kingdom's economic development. The doctor also has an active and tangible impact in the social and humanitarian fields, including his active participation in the Friends of Patients Committee in Saudi Arabia, as well as in supporting orphans, the Association for Disabled Children, the Friends of Prisoners' Families Association, Quran Memorization Associations, Expatriates Abroad Association, Friends of Renal Failure Patients (Kullana), the Friends of Hearing and Visual Impairment Patients Committee, the Environmental Preservation Committee, represented by Wildlife and its Development, and other humanitarian associations. He has also made extensive cultural contributions, including providing advice on administrative development and restructuring for establishments, in addition to providing some graduate students seeking doctorates with scientific and practical experience in their research, particularly in the administrative and economic aspects.
How are you feeling on the occasion of the National Day?
On this occasion, dear to all our hearts, I am honored, on behalf of Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Dhaheri and the Al Dhaheri Group of Companies, to extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect them, on the occasion of the National Day of our beloved Kingdom, and to the entire Saudi people. I ask God Almighty to protect this noble country from the plots of conspirators and to perpetuate its glory, growth, security, and stability.
How do you view the achievements and developments in various fields in the Kingdom, especially with the National Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan?
Thus, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al Dhaheri stated that the Kingdom's achievements on all fronts reflect its steady progress toward the future, a result of the far-reaching vision of its wise leadership. Our country is currently passing through an important phase, expanding its horizons in terms of exchanging investment and commercial opportunities. The Vision has provided us with many things, most notably clarity, as we now have a clear plan of action for the Kingdom's economic and scientific direction.
What is the approach or fundamental pillar upon which you rely to achieve a distinguished position?
In this context, Dr. Mohammed Al Dhaheri said, "The company seeks to achieve success within a framework of checks and balances, relying on the best human resources, mechanisms, and work performance. Under wise leadership, the nation has gone through many developmental stages, the focus of which has been Saudi youth. What is your advice to young people?
Saudi youth are a fundamental building block in achieving Vision 2030. I hope our youth will take advantage of the opportunities the state has allocated. I would like to advise young people looking forward to a successful professional future to focus on education, commitment to work, and tireless effort. There's nothing wrong with starting a career, learning, and developing skills and practical knowledge. Herein lies our responsibility in the private sector to support and train the nation's youth through programs, training, and employment.
The development and qualitative leap in reforming inmates in all prisons in the Kingdom?
There has been a qualitative leap in the Kingdom's prisons, reflecting the well-being of inmates and the attention paid to their rehabilitation and education. This represents a qualitative leap compared to prisons in neighboring countries and even most countries around the world. This includes providing inmates with professional and cultural education and rehabilitation, enabling them to become upstanding citizens upon release and avoiding feelings of isolation. This includes social interaction with their families and relatives, and providing them with health facilities in modern, comfortable, and clean buildings, resembling five-star hotels. Tarahum has also contributed to meeting the needs of the families of inmates and those released, providing moral and material support. This tangible development reflects the extent of the concern of the wise leadership and the Ministry of Interior, and its selection of competent and experienced military personnel, led by His Excellency the Director General of Prisons and his assistants.
What is your final word to conclude this meeting?
On this proud National Day, we ask God Almighty to prolong the life of our King and Crown Prince and to make this country a place of safety, security, peace and prosperity for our beloved people, visitors and residents, and everyone who has set foot in this beloved country. We ask God for their success and guidance. On this great occasion, the anniversary of National Day, we must acknowledge the heroes who have sacrificed since the founding of the First Saudi State, including our late grandfather, may God have mercy on him, when he was the Emir of Medina during the victory in the Battle of Wadi Al-Safra to defend Medina against Thompson, the Turkish commander, when he advanced with his army towards Medina. Sheikh Saud bin Mudyan Al-Dhaheri Al-Harbi rose up against him and inflicted defeat on the Turkish army and its commander, Thompson. Here we, the descendants, rejoice in what our forefathers have achieved.
